Job Summary

This position is responsible for sales of products to the Refractory, Ceramic and Polishing customers in North America. He/she is committed to customer service excellence and will develop and manage service based partnerships and business relationships with Almatis customers in the assigned region to contribute and to meet Company’s strategic aims.

Responsibilities

· Fulfillment of the annual plan figures (sales, volume, unit revenue) of the assigned customer base

· Ensuring the implementation of the corporate business development strategy defined by management and defined under the supervision of the Commercial Director

· Proposals of commercial growth opportunities to support the increase in corporate income for Almatis products and services and to implement the agreed measures

· Establish/maintain strong relationships with key contacts throughout a customer's organization to optimize market share, gather relevant market information, and coordinate communication links between the customer and Almatis to support a mutually beneficial relationship

· Provision of technical support, advice and solution for the customer in conjunction with the internal stakeholders

· Reporting of accurate and transparent business information as a decision-making aid for the supervisor within deadlines and in accordance with internal reporting guidelines

· Manage, coordinate and develop a team connection with CSRs and Application & Market Development Managers to optimize services and support for Almatis customers

· Supporting communication between customers and the staff of Almatis' departments (CSR, PMD, QC, Production) to ensure rapid response to order management, customer complaints and technical support

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred

· Three (3) to five (5) years of applicable experience in the commercial/sales field, preferably in large to midsized companies in similar industries

· Proven track record with customer relationship management, market &business development, reporting and forecasting

· Knowledge and understanding of the refractory or ceramic industry, its products, markets and customers

· Preferred knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles

· Proficient with Microsoft office software, knowledge of SAP forecasting and BI functionality

· Strong Negotiation skills

· Fluent in English writing and speaking

Pay: From $90,000.00 per year
